Billing & Plans

Manage your subscription, seats, and invoices from the dedicated Billing page.

Billing isn't a tab inside Settings, it's its own page. Open Settings and click Billing in the sidebar, which takes you to a dedicated page for managing your subscription, seats, and invoices.

Choosing a Plan and Seats

The plan selector lets you pick a billing cycle, Monthly or Annual, and set how many seats you need. Seats are for mentors and mentees only: admin accounts are always free and don't count against your seat total. Self-serve checkout supports up to 1,000 seats; organizations that need more go through a sales conversation for an Enterprise plan. Exact prices and what each plan includes live on our pricing page rather than here, since they can change independently of this article.

Managing Seats After You've Subscribed

On a paid plan, a Manage Seats card shows how many of your purchased seats are in use, counting active members plus any pending invitations still holding a seat. You can increase or decrease your seat count from here; a decrease that would drop you below your current member count is blocked until you free up seats first.

Invoice History

A dedicated Invoice History table lists your past invoices, each with a link to view or download it directly from Stripe.

Downgrading

Switching to a lower plan, or back to Free Pilot, asks you to confirm first. The confirmation dialog is explicit about which action you're taking: a downgrade to another paid plan, or a full cancellation.

Free Pilot

If you're on the free Free Pilot plan, the Billing page shows a Free Pilot panel instead of a paid-plan summary: how many of your included seats are used, and what's included at this tier (a fixed number of members, active matches per member, goals per match, and AI credits per month).

Over Your Limit

If your active member count goes over what you've purchased, or over your plan's limit, a banner appears across the app warning that new matches and invitations are paused until you either reduce your member count or add seats. This isn't a soft warning: it actively blocks new invitations and new matches until resolved.

Tip

The over-limit banner links straight to Members (to remove someone) or to this Billing page (to add seats or upgrade), so you don't need to hunt for either action separately.
