Mentor Recognition
Mentoring is a gift of time and expertise. MentorStack automatically surfaces the moments that matter — so mentors understand the difference they're making and stay engaged for the long haul.
Mentors see a chronological feed of automatically recognized moments: first session completed, mentee goal achieved, mentee milestone hit, match completed, mentee reflection written, monthly consistency streak, and match accepted. Some moments receive an AI-written narrative to give them meaning beyond a timestamp.
A live summary of everything a mentor has contributed: unique mentees helped, active and completed matches, goals supported and completed, milestones completed, meetings logged, and total mentoring minutes. Numbers that tell the real story.
For each active match, mentors see their mentee's stated aspirations, the growth-area skills the mentee is developing, and the goals they're currently working toward — all in one place, so preparation takes minutes instead of guesswork.
When 21 or more days pass with no completed meeting in an active match, the platform sends a gentle nudge to the mentor. Dismissible, not alarming — just a prompt to reconnect before a relationship goes quiet.
Skills validated through mentee reflections and peer endorsements build into a persistent mentor portfolio. After a first completed match, mentors can export a PDF of their portfolio — a record of their mentoring work that travels with them.
Mentors move through three stages — New, Active, and Veteran — as they accumulate completed matches and mentoring time. Each stage reflects a real track record, not a manufactured badge.
Mentors volunteer their time. When that time disappears into a program with no feedback and no visibility into outcomes, attrition follows. The mentors who stay are the ones who know they are making a difference.
MentorStack closes that loop automatically. Every completed goal, every milestone, every reflection written by a mentee feeds back to the mentor who helped make it happen — without requiring anyone to manually send a thank-you email or compile a report.
The portfolio gives mentors something they can take with them: a validated record of skills developed through real mentoring relationships, backed by the people they worked with.
