Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the MentorStack platform and services provided by MentorStack, Inc. (“MentorStack,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using MentorStack, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using any part of the MentorStack platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using MentorStack on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

MentorStack is a B2B mentorship platform that enables organizations to create, manage, and measure mentorship programs. Our services include mentor-mentee matching, goal tracking, meeting scheduling, messaging, analytics, AI-powered session assistance, and administrative tools. Features available to you depend on your organization's subscription plan.

3. Accounts & Access

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.

Organization administrators manage user access, roles, and permissions within their organization. MentorStack is not responsible for access decisions made by your organization's administrators.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use MentorStack for any unlawful purpose
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or MentorStack systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the platform or its infrastructure
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools to extract data from the platform
  • Resell, sublicense, or redistribute access to MentorStack

5. Intellectual Property

MentorStack and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MentorStack, Inc. and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of all content you submit to the platform (profile data, messages, meeting notes, etc.), and you grant MentorStack a limited license to use this content to provide and improve the service.

6. Subscription & Billing

Paid plans are billed monthly based on the number of active users in your organization. Prices are as listed on our pricing page at the time of subscription. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, MentorStack shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the platform. MentorStack's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by your organization in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

MentorStack is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. AI-generated content (session summaries, match recommendations, etc.) is provided as a suggestion and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. Organization administrators can remove users and cancel the organization's subscription through the admin dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, with notice where practicable. Upon termination, your data will be handled according to our Privacy Policy and any applicable data processing agreement.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the effective date. Continued use of MentorStack after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
