A quick overview of MentorStack and how to get up and running
Getting Started with MentorStack
Welcome to MentorStack — the platform that helps organizations launch, manage, and measure mentorship programs.
Whether you're an admin setting up a new program, a mentor guiding others, or a mentee looking to grow, this guide will help you get oriented.
Your Role in MentorStack
MentorStack has three roles, each with their own dashboard and tools:
- Admins manage the organization — inviting members, creating matches, configuring settings, and tracking program health through analytics.
- Mentors work directly with mentees — scheduling meetings, exchanging messages, and supporting goal progress.
- Mentees drive their own growth — setting goals, attending meetings, and tracking progress over time.
First Steps
For Admins
- Invite members — Head to the Members page and send invitations to mentors and mentees.
- Create matches — Pair mentors with mentees on the Matches page based on skills, interests, or goals.
- Set up pathways — Optionally create learning pathways to guide mentoring conversations.
Tip
You can invite members in bulk by entering multiple email addresses separated by commas.
For Mentors
- Review your matches — Check who you've been paired with on the Matches page.
- Schedule a meeting — Set up your first meeting with your mentee.
- Send an intro message — Break the ice through the Messages page.
For Mentees
- Set your first goal — Head to the Goals page and define what you want to achieve.
- Meet your mentor — Attend your first scheduled meeting.
- Track progress — Update your goals regularly to stay on track.
