Which mentoring messages reach Slack and Teams?
Match updates, meeting reminders, goal milestones and engagement alerts arrive as a Slack or Teams direct message, beside the in-app bell and web push notice. An admin can also send one announcement to every active member, and post it once to a chosen public Slack channel. An organization connects Slack or Teams, one at a time.
- Direct messages go to the person, not to a shared channel.

- When an announcement also posts to a Slack channel, the per-member direct message is skipped so nobody reads it twice.
Can people mute Slack and Teams messages?
Yes. Each person has seven mute switches: match updates, meeting reminders, goal milestones, engagement alerts, reflections, surveys and announcements. All seven default to on. Each switch covers the in-app bell, web push and the Slack or Teams direct message together, so there is no separate control for each channel.
What happens when a chat message does not arrive?
The meeting reminder email always sends. The matching bell, push and direct message go out alongside it on a best-effort basis. A chat message that fails or gets muted therefore does not remove the email reminder. Billing, data-request and AI-credit-warning notices always deliver and have no switch.
Which plan includes Slack and Teams delivery?
